Dan Modaff is a solo acoustic musician based in La Crescent, Minnesota. His music blends honest storytelling with strong melodies and thoughtful guitar playing. Inspired by artists like James Taylor, Garth Brooks, and John Prine, Dan’s style sits somewhere between folk, country, and Americana, with songs that aim to feel genuine and easy to connect with.
Over the years, Dan has built a solid musical background, recording six albums with his band, Good Enough. His songwriting has also been recognized in several competitions, where he’s been named a finalist and received honorable mentions for his heartfelt lyrics.

April 30, 2026--I am looking forward to a great new venue this summer--Creekside Winery in Black River Falls, WI. The location is absolutely beautiful and they have put together a fantastic summer music series on their patio. I'll be there July 18 and August 8.
July 20, 2025--La Crosse Farmers Market has been a great location to play this summer. Please do take the time to stop by the market on Fridays. I might just be back to play again in September!

May 17, 2025--A song from Saturday's Child will be played on Monday (5/19/2025) night’s Hootenanny Cafe Singer Songwriter Showcase (wtbq.com). The host, Jon Stein, will air “It's Who I Am,” co-written with Mark Collins and Jennifer Butler Modaff. This show will also air Thursday (5/22) and Friday (5/23) at 10pm (est) on bellbuckleradio.com

July 26, 2024--Good Enough, with brothers Dan, John, and Larry Modaff, has released their 6th full length album, Saturday's Child. You can stream it on all major streaming services easily from here or buy a physical CD and get streaming access for free from Bandcamp.
